Cataumet, MA.  April 27, 2018.   It certainly wasn’t the first thing they saw in the house.  In time, though, greenGoat, a used building material charity, saw a _signature_ on the I-beam in the garage of a Cataumet home, scheduled for demolition:  “Woods Lumber, Falmouth MA” in a rich script.

Working with Mark Hutker, of Hutker Architects and Ralph Cataldo, of Cataldo Builders, greenGoat was actively redistributing all viable building materials from the Scraggy Neck home, scheduled for demolition.  As they saw vintage beadboard, heart pine flooring, and updated baths and windows go to various corners, greenGoat shifted focus to the harder-to-get “layers”, like landscaping, flooring, and finally … structure.
